We live across the street from the

Ames Borderland State Park.

There are about many miles of trails and paths. Some are not available for cycling, but there are still many miles of bike paths, as well as graded gravel roads. Sunday morning, Early..a delicious Spring morning after a long Winter. I couldn't stop. !

I don't care if I ever ride on the road, at this point. The Specialized Expedition Elite eats gravel roads and dirt paths for breakfast. Indifferent squirrells watch you, ducks and geese paddle around, hawks are looking for snacks, and one can see mysterious mossy glens through the budding trees.
